New Force Distances Itself From ‘The Base Movement’, Calls Claims “Inaccurate”
The New Force has firmly denied any link with The Base Movement, dismissing circulating claims of an affiliation as “inaccurate” and urging the public to ignore them.
In a statement released Monday, July 20, the movement said the clarification was necessary following “recent inquiries and public commentary” that may have created a false impression of a relationship between the two groups.
According to the statement, “The New Force categorically affirms that neither the movement nor its Founder and Leader, Nana Kwame Bediako, has any affiliation, partnership, collaboration, endorsement, or formal relationship with any group known as The Base Movement.”
The movement stressed that it has operated independently since inception, warning the public not to rely on claims suggesting otherwise. It added that any publications or activities hinting at such a connection are misleading and must be disregarded.
The New Force further urged supporters, stakeholders and the media to rely solely on its official communication channels for verified information, insisting that any suggestion of a link between the two entities is unfounded.
