GAF engineers conduct rescue operations in flood-hit areas
The 48 Engineer Regiment of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has deployed rescue teams to several flood-affected areas in the Greater Accra Region following heavy rains that caused widespread flooding on Monday.
The teams are carrying out rescue operations in communities including Tse Addo, Alajo, Dzorwulu, Mallam, Gbawe, Regimanuel Estates and Klagon to assist residents trapped by floodwaters and provide emergency support.
The deployment forms part of ongoing efforts by the security services and emergency response agencies to safeguard lives and property in communities affected by the flooding.

It assured the public of its continued commitment to supporting civil authorities and providing humanitarian assistance to affected communities.
