Fault on ECG distribution network disrupts electricity supply in parts of Tema
The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has attributed the ongoing power outage affecting some communities in the Tema Region to a fault on its network.
According to the power distributor, engineers have been deployed to work on the fault and restore electricity supply to the affected areas.
The company disclosed this in a public notice issued on Friday, June 26.
The affected areas include Saglemi Housing, Pharmanova, RSG, Lakpleku, Boiko, Bundase Military Training Camp and nearby communities.
The company assured residents and businesses in the affected communities that efforts are underway to rectify the fault and restore electricity as soon as possible.
"ECG wishes to assure affected customers that our Engineers are working to rectify the fault and restore supply," the company stated.
