C-Quansah Foundation, BOST Energies commission borehole for Amissah Ekyir Community

The C-Quansah Foundation, in partnership with BOST Energies, has commissioned a new borehole at Amissah Ekyir in the Ntsin Electoral Area of the Cape Coast Metropolis as part of efforts to improve access to safe and potable water for underserved communities.

The commissioning ceremony, held on Saturday, June 20, 2026, forms part of the Foundation's ongoing commitment to addressing water challenges and improving living conditions within the Cape Coast South Constituency.

BOST Energies reaffirmed its commitment to community development through its support for the project. As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, the company partnered with the C-Quansah Foundation to provide the borehole for residents of Amissah Ekyir.

According to the company, the partnership reflects its dedication to improving livelihoods, promoting access to essential social amenities, and contributing meaningfully to community development across Ghana. By supporting the provision of clean and safe drinking water, BOST Energies said it continues to demonstrate its commitment to enhancing the well-being of vulnerable populations and fostering sustainable growth.

Led by Lawyer Charles Quansah, the Foundation has now completed and commissioned five boreholes across the Cape Coast South Constituency. Previous beneficiary communities include Petro Post Office, Gyegyeano, Abowinimu, and Kawanopaado.

Speaking at the ceremony, Lawyer Quansah reiterated his commitment to community development and social intervention, stressing that access to clean water remains a basic necessity and a key priority for the Foundation.

“Water is life,” he stated, adding that the Foundation remains committed to supporting communities that face challenges in accessing potable water.

He further disclosed that, beyond the borehole projects, the Foundation has implemented several youth empowerment initiatives, including skills training programmes designed to equip young people with employable skills.

Lawyer Quansah assured residents that such interventions would continue and be expanded to benefit more communities across the constituency.

Residents of the Ntsin Electoral Area, who have struggled for years with inadequate access to clean water, welcomed the project and described it as a timely intervention that would significantly improve their daily lives.

Expressing appreciation on behalf of the community, a resident said: “We pray that God richly blesses the C-Quansah Foundation and BOST Energies for this remarkable gesture. This project will make a lasting difference in our lives.”

The newly commissioned borehole at Amissah Ekyir marks another milestone in the C-Quansah Foundation's efforts to provide sustainable solutions to community challenges and improve the welfare of residents across Cape Coast South.
