NPP Politics: Sacking Kennedy Agyapong
Showdown Part 3; Is Kennedy Agyapong (former Assin Central MP), getting the boot from the NPP? And will the party be better off with him or without him as they push ahead? We are going to find out by June 2027.
Fellow Ghanaians, get your popcorn ready! Better yet get your ‘Atadwe and Sobolo’ on standby! The "Gambler," Kennedy ‘Akompreko’ Agyapong, has just fired the first salvo for the third installment of the Showdown Series, and it promises to be epic.
Does his rhetoric cross the line into undermining the party, or is it merely an expression of fervent nationalism?
Ironically, Agyapong previously supported the suspension of former NPP Chairman Paul Afoko for anti-party activities.
Today, Afoko is back in the race for that very same chairmanship. We will see how this drama plays out by 2027.
Not to be outdone by Ghana's political scene, Nigeria's primary opposition, PDP, faces its own turmoil regarding Nyesom Wike (former River State Governor); with many pushing for his suspension or expulsion for ‘anti-party’ behavior.
Like Agyapong in Ghana, Wike divides opinions passionately within his party more than the ruling government. Unlike Agyapong, Wike believes he is the heir to the PDP presidential ticket rather than Atiku Abubakar.
In numerology, the year 2027, is considered a Universal Master Year, that promotes harmony and cooperation. Clearly not in Ghana and Nigeria.
Both countries are setting the stage for an epic showdown in 2027. ‘Kas33 HEAT!’
