View from the MAGA Psychiatric Ward - Part 15
It has often been studiously observed that citizens who make a mischievous, as well as a self-centered, habit of Gaming The System, as the popular expression goes hereabouts in the United States of America, almost ultimately and invariably end up Gaming Themselves in the process. This is exactly what is presently happening in the wake of the grossly miscalculated decision by President Donald John Trump and Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin “Mileikowsky” Netanyahu to launch one of the most legally and morally untenable and strategically inexcusable state-sponsored terrorist attacks on any sovereign and democratically constituted nation or republic in our time.
The obvious reference here, of course, is to the February 28, 2026 Nazi-class blitzkrieg against the Revolutionary Islamic Republic of Iran (See “Trump Faces Blowback on Easing Iran Oil Sanctions” New York Times 3/23/26). Contrary to what Aryan Supremacist Leaders - they prefer to be called or labeled as “Conservatives” and “Right-Wing” Make America Great Again (MAGA) “Rapepublicans” - like Messrs. Trump, James David “JD” Vance and Marco Rubio, to name only the most obvious and garishly conspicuous arch-lietenants of President Trump, the Islamic Revolutionary Republic of Iran is practically in every legitimate sense of the term, as unarguably “Democratic” as the Trump-chaperoned Fascist Dictatorship of the United States of America, at least in the forensically unimpeachable opinion of New York City’s Ugandan-born and Indian-descended Mayor, Mr. Zohran Kwame Mamdani.
So far, judging by the so-called Agenda 2025 policy prosecution of Mr. Trump’s MAGA regime, and here also the direct and obvious allusion is to the latter regime’s brazen and naked evisceration of African American Civil and Political Rights, “legitimately” disguised as Gerrymandering, the present quality of America’s democratic political culture is decidedly and practically indistinguishable from what our mainstream media hereabouts inform us is the stock-in-trade or “Best Practice” of the kind that prevails in Iran and has, supposedly and/or purportedly, been so over the past half-century.
What with the crude and the relentless persecutorial targeting of both the alleged and the perceived personal enemies of Mr. Trump, both personal and political terms or grounds? Here, though, the discursive focus is on the recent decision by President Trump and his team of advisers and subalterns to lift an embargo placed on the ability of Tehran by Washington to ship out some 140 million barrels of crude oil onto the Global Market, as the inimitably formidable military strength and might of the Holy Land of the Ayatollahs draws the pathologically inward-looking government of the intellectually exhausted and creatively effete Real-Estate Developer and the Tariff-Extorting Scam-Artist to a stalemate on the battlefield.
In the aforereferenced news story, bylined Alan Rappeport, a New York Times’ Staff Writer with specialty on Fiscal Matters and a Beat Reporter for the US’ Treasury Department, allowing Tehran to export the aforementioned 140 million barrels of prime or vintage crude (oil) is likely to benefit the very Islamic Revolutionary Government that Mr. Trump and his fanatical lapdog of a War Secretary, namely, Mr. Peter “Pete” Brian Hegseth, who also doubles as the US’ Secretary of Defense, for whatever such tautological titular garb or pip may be worth in terms of harvests of human heads, in Achebe-ian or Okonkwo-ian parlance, on the battlefield, the proving ground of such “epic” braggadocio, where the former FOX-News’ Television Talk-Show Host appears to be scandalously failing massively and may very wee have irredeemably washed out, cadaverously, to the ginormous tune of some $14 Billion, described by some Trump critics and go-fers as a strategically counterproductive windfall.
You see, there is this common age-old rule that cautions one against generously and sumptuously feeding the very archnemesis that one is also trying very hard to weaken significantly and thoroughly vanquish. The most obvious objective here is, of course, to strategically ease up the exponentially surging widespread unpopularity here at the time of the Trump-skippered MAGA Government, while at the same time buying a stiffly “Konowaized” or “Headlocked” and immobilized US Forces a wiggle room to wrest itself out of the chokehold of the neck-roasting armpits of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Council’s Forces.
Our prime focus here is to highlight the light years of sagacity that handily differentiates the nonesuch genius of the diplomatic principals of the erstwhile Obama Administration that reportedly offered the relatively diddly sum of som $1.7 Billion or just under a seventh of the Trumpian kickback or palm-greaser, as we say in my ancestral land of Ghana, of some $14 Billion in order to literally tamp the kibosh on the pace of the fast-brimming inevitable development of the Nuke by the Iranians and, consequently, slow down the virtually certain and the ultimate acquisition of the Almighty Nuke by the Ayatollahs.
In the very sobering words of Mr. Richard Nephew - yes, “Nephew” is his real surname - the former National Security Council Operative in the government of former President Barack Huseein Obama, a cholerically petulant Mr. Trump has gone down on all four knees before the Iranians, even while also cacophonically and characteristically erratically claiming to have definitively vanquished his obviously far more redoubtable enemies on the battlefield. “You have gone to the Iranians and told them, ‘You have us by our Achilles’ Heel.’” Now, who is the “DEI” Misfit here, now that the proverbial ghost of our infamous Vietnam Draft-Dodger comes home to roost?
