NCA hosts Norfolk State University delegation for academic exchange

The National Communications Authority (NCA), has welcomed a delegation from Norfolk State University (NSU), United States of America, at the NCA Tower in Accra on Tuesday.

The visit, part of NSU’s international academic exposure programme, brought together two faculty members and seven students seeking practical insights into Ghana’s communications policy and regulatory frameworks.

Welcoming the group, the Deputy Director-General for Managerial Operations, Mrs. Etta Mosore outlined the NCA’s mandate and key responsibilities, assuring the visitors of detailed briefings from subject matter experts. She encouraged the students to actively engage during the session.

Presentations by Mr. Abdul Razak Salifu of the Research Division and Mr. Kwame Baafuor Osei Akoto of the Engineering Division provided valuable insights into the NCA’s role in regulating the communications sector and ensuring efficient, reliable services nationwide.

The faculty representative Rev. Jonathan Mason expressed appreciation for the opportunity, noting that the experience would provide students with valuable real-world insights that will enrich their academic development and future careers.

The delegation also toured the Broadcasting Monitoring Centre, where they observed its operations and learned about its role in monitoring the technical operations of broadcasting services across the country.
