“Nothing else matters” — Dr. Nduom sets clear agenda for GN Savings comeback

Founder of Groupe Nduom, Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom, says his primary focus following the Court of Appeal’s ruling is to restore GN Savings and reposition the company for future growth.

Speaking at a press conference in Accra after the court reportedly ordered the Bank of Ghana to restore the company’s license and assets immediately, Dr. Nduom stressed that management remains committed to rebuilding the business rather than engaging in public controversies.

“The focus is how we bring GN Savings back and then move on to become a GN Bank. That’s all. There’s nothing else that we’re going to do,” he stated.

According to him, while a dedicated legal team handles all legal matters surrounding the case, management is fully focused on operational preparations to restart the company’s activities.

“We have our legal team that is focused on the legal issues. Anything that comes, they will deal with it,” Dr. Nduom explained.

He noted that efforts to revive the institution had already begun since last Thursday, with plans underway to restore banking services to communities that previously depended heavily on GN Savings.

Dr. Nduom also highlighted the company’s role in providing safe and secure banking services, especially in underserved areas where access to financial services remains limited.

He further called for support for indigenous businesses, insisting that the institution would remain disciplined, focused, and positive despite years of challenges.

Ending his remarks with a quote from 2 Timothy 1:7, Dr. Nduom expressed confidence that GN Savings would return stronger and continue contributing to national development.
