Hudai Foundation Distributes 1,500 Cows to Muslim Families for Eid-ul-Adha

The Hudai Foundation, the organisation behind Ghana's National Mosque, has distributed 1,500 cows to Muslim families across the country as part of this year's Eid-ul-Adha celebrations.

The donation, regarded as one of the largest charitable livestock support initiatives undertaken in the country, benefited more than 30,000 people and brought relief to thousands of households during the Islamic festival.

The exercise formed part of the foundation's annual humanitarian intervention aimed at supporting vulnerable families and promoting the values of sacrifice, compassion and sharing associated with Eid-ul-Adha.

Through a coordinated nationwide distribution network, the cows were slaughtered and shared among beneficiaries in various communities, ensuring that families across the country had access to meat during the festive period.

In an interview with the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of Hudai Foundation Alhaji Musah Nuhu said the initiative underscored the organisation's commitment to social welfare and community support.

According to him, the programme was intended not only to provide food for families but also to foster hope, dignity and social cohesion among beneficiaries.

He noted that the intervention helped reduce the financial burden on many households while reinforcing the spirit of unity and mutual support that characterises the Eid-ul-Adha celebration.

He revealed that the Hudai Foundation oversees activities associated with Ghana's National Mosque, has over the years implemented a number of charitable programmes in the areas of education, community development and relief assistance.

He said, the foundation ensured that all animals were slaughtered in accordance with Islamic requirements, while measures were also put in place to guarantee the safe handling and equitable distribution of the meat.

He added that the foundation remain committed to supporting vulnerable communities and promoting social welfare through similar interventions in the future.

Community leaders and beneficiaries who received the donation commended the foundation for its generosity and continued support for disadvantaged groups.

The leaders further praised the foundation for consistently undertaking humanitarian projects that positively impact communities across the country.

Beneficiaries expressed gratitude for the support, describing the gesture as timely and significant, particularly for families facing economic challenges.
