Mahama Cannot Criminalise Insults While Benefiting From Them

“When you throw a ball against a wall, it bounces back to you”, a saying, and a factual law of motion that states that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. This cannot be much truer when it comes to the emotional pain President Mahama is suffering hence his NDC government enacting laws against insults with concomitant arrests of insulters.

President John Dramani Mahama is himself a known insulter. He has no respect for Ghanaians and on many occasions found himself belittling and insulting Ghanaians, especially, his NPP political opponents.

He relishes in slandering people for the sake of gaining political superiority or advantage over them.

Is he not alleged to have contracted that misfit yob Kevin Taylor residing in the United States of America to continually rain insults on some people in Ghana most of whom happen to be the political rivals of President Mahama and the NDC?

Are the NDC and President Mahama not supportive of Kevin Taylor’s yobbish and malicious attacks and diarrheic rain of insults on some politicians and personalities in Ghana deemed opponents, if not enemies, of President Mahama and NDC?

How on earth should this known and hated yob be accorded a red-carpet welcome to Ghana at Kotoka International Airport, now Accra International Airport, by NDC government and party leaders as soon as Mr Mahama won election 2024 and inaugurated the president of Ghana?

The NDC and President Mahama provided him all the financial and legal support to go to the Ghana Supreme Court to have any criminal or civil charges against him thrown out and declared discharged and acquitted of all possible crimes against him.

He is still back in the USA insulting people he sees as the enemies or political opponents of President Mahama and the NDC. The NDC are happy about that. They are not complaining but cheering and goading him on.

If insults hurt, why do NDC and President Mahama lend Kevin Taylor their support when he insults their political opponents? Whenever he is threatened with lawsuit or is arraigned, the NDC are there to support him. Shame on them.

Why has Kwame Baffoe aka Abronye, the Bono NPP Regional Chairman, been arrested for insulting President Mahama or the police IGP? Had he not been insulting in the same manner as Kevin Taylor has been insulting?

Are there differences between insults? Are some insults lighter or deeper than others and if yes, which are they?

If you are not insulated from insults and personal attacks, but feel pained when insulted, don’t directly or indirectly encourage or hire people to insult your deemed enemies all for political reasons.

What is not good for you, President Mahama, should equally be seen as not good for former presidents John Agyekum Kufuor and Nana Akufo-Addo,

Do you hear me clear, President Mahama?
Stop Kevin Taylor from his NDC-sponsored agenda of insults and Abronye will surely also quit his.

I am against any law to be enacted against insults in Ghana if the NDC will still hide behind and support their friends to insult others from inside and outside Ghana.

No more insults, for like ugliness, they hurt and they cut deep across the bones! Insults are painful, President Mahama will tell!
