Ghana Publishing Company records GHS16.9 million profit in 2025, up from GHS2.2 in 2024 — Kwakye Ofosu

The Ghana Publishing Company Limited (GPCL), a state-owned enterprise responsible for the publication of official government documents, has recorded a sharp increment in profit after tax, reaching GHS16.9 million in 2025.

This represents a significant increase from the GHS2.227 million profit recorded in 2024, indicating improved financial performance within the year under review.

The disclosure was made by the Minister of State in charge of Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, in a social media post on Friday, May 8, after reviewing the company’s audited financial statements.

“I just finished reviewing the audited Financial Statements of the Ghana Publishing Company Limited,” he stated.

“Among other impressive numbers, the company’s profit after tax jumped from GHS 2.227 million in 2024 to GHS 16.959 million in 2025,” he added.

Meanwhile, the Ghana Publishing Company Limited plays a key role in Ghana’s public administration system.

It is mandated to publish the Ghana Gazette, legislative instruments, official notices, and other government publications that provide legal backing to state actions and policies.

The company also supports transparency in governance by ensuring that statutory publications are accessible to the public and other state institutions.
