Isaac Adongo clears GH¢154,000 dues, nomination fees for Bolga Central NDC executives

The Member of Parliament for Bolgatanga Central, Isaac Adongo, has paid a total of GH¢154,512 to cover nomination fees and four years’ dues for all branch executives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the constituency.

The Constituency Chairman, Martin Ayamga, confirmed the development after receiving a cheque from the MP at the party office on May 4, 2026, describing it as the fulfillment of a pledge made during a recent constituency tour.

According to Mr. Ayamga, the commitment was made during a five-day tour where Mr. Adongo unveiled several projects and assured party executives of his support in recognition of their dedication.

He explained that the payment covers 1,332 branch executives across 148 operational branches. Each executive’s nomination form costs GH¢20, while dues amount to GH¢96 for 48 months, representing four years.

“We have received the full amount in a cheque. It covers both the nomination forms and the dues for all executives,” Mr. Ayamga stated.

He noted that although four additional branches have been created, they are yet to become operational, hence their exclusion from the current payment.

Mr. Ayamga further revealed that the MP’s intervention made other planned support unnecessary, as the full cost had already been settled. He emphasised that the gesture was solely funded by Mr. Adongo as a show of appreciation for the hard work and commitment of the party’s grassroots executives.

The move is expected to boost morale among party executives and strengthen grassroots mobilisation within the constituency.
