NDC will have no compelling message for 2028 elections — Janet Nablah

The Leader of the People’s National Party (PNP), Janet Nablah, has cast doubt on the ability of the ruling National Democratic Congress to mount a strong campaign in the 2028 general elections.

She argued that the party may struggle to present a convincing message to voters, citing what she described as unfulfilled promises and governance failures.

Speaking on Accra-based Joy Prime on Tuesday, May 5, Madam Nablah criticised the government’s record and questioned its credibility heading into the next election cycle.

“I don't think the NDC has a message… I don't think they will contest in the 2028 elections,” she said.

She further accused the party of misleading the public and failing to deliver on commitments made during the last elections.

“The more you try to lie, the more you are exposed… they have become compulsive liars,” she added.

The former presidential candidate stressed that unless there is a significant change in approach, the ruling party risks losing public trust ahead of the next polls.
