Health Ministry cautions public over fraudulent recruitment websites

The Ministry of Health has dismissed claims circulating on social media about the existence of an alternative link for its ongoing recruitment exercise.

The clarification comes ahead of the scheduled recruitment of nurses and midwives, which is set to run from May 4 to May 15.

In a statement issued on Friday, May 1, and signed by its Spokesperson Tony Goodman, the Ministry explained that the development is part of efforts to protect applicants from fraud and ensure a transparent process.

“The public is hereby informed that the only authorized platform for the recruitment process remains the official link (http//mohrecruitment.com) provided by the Ministry of Health,” the statement read in part.

The Ministry further assured that its recruitment portal remains secure and has not been compromised despite the circulation of suspicious links online.

“Any cloned or unauthorized websites currently circulating should be treated as fraudulent and disregarded,” it cautioned.

The statement urged applicants to rely strictly on official communication channels and report individuals who claim to facilitate recruitment through unofficial means.

It also disclosed that recruitment processes for pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, physician assistants and allied health professionals have been successfully completed.
