Who Is The Ghanaian?
Please, let us pause and ask ourselves: Who is the Ghanaian?
Who else, if not a Ghanaian—often in convenient partnership with foreigners—corrupts every artery of national life?
Who are these compatriots who cling to the mentality that “a goat eats from where it is tethered” to justify their corrupt hands and corrupted minds?
Why did our founding parents choose the name Ghana at independence?
Ancient Ghana—our namesake—was a civilisation of gold, order, social justice, jurisprudence, industry, trade, and commerce. What has become of modern Ghana, where corruption is not an aberration but the daily norm?
Who is this public official whose guiding philosophy is that “the goat eats from where it is tethered”?
Who is this Ghanaian so steeped in corruption that it has become marrow-deep?
What provoked President Rawlings to thunder about “greedy bastards and their children with sharp teeth” swarming like locusts?
Is it not their greed that is ravaging our environment?
Is it not these “greedy bastards” who have turned the 4th Republic into a Dukadaya Donkomi Galamsey Republic—an era of unmatched economic and fiscal brigandage, where the creed is create, loot, and share?
And to think Rawlings knew them—the greedy bastards and their children with sharp teeth.
Today, these individuals have become a national security threat.
They are the nation-wreckers.
They are the architects of our underdevelopment.
Indeed, a fish rots from the head.
There is an urgent need for an ALTERNATIVE to this Dukadaya Donkomi Galamsey 4th Republic.
