The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has released an updated list of countries whose nationals can enter Ghana without visas, as preparations intensify for the Diaspora Summit 2025 scheduled for December 19 to 20 at the Accra International Conference Centre.

In a public notice issued on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, the ministry reiterated its earlier pledge to grant free visas to all summit participants but advised prospective attendees to still contact the nearest Ghanaian Embassy or Consulate for guidance and to secure their travel documents where necessary.

The ministry said the update aligns with Ghana’s ongoing commitment to Pan African unity and its intention to encourage the participation of Africans and people of African descent in conversations that promote cooperation, shared development, and global partnership building.
