The previous seat of government of Ghana was Osu Castle. It was named Golden Jubilee House by President John Agyekum Kuffour in November 2008 to coincide with the 50th year of Ghana's independence. It has since reverted to Jubilee House. It has previously been known as The Flagstaff House. The Flagstaff House, as it was previously known, was reconstructed and inaugurated by the government of John Agyekum Kufour with the name Golden Jubilee House in November 2008 when construction was about 70%–80% completed. In January 2009, the incoming government of President John Atta Mills moved the office of the president back to Osu Castle and later changed the sign in front of the building back to its original name claiming that the previous government had not used a Legislative Instrument to effect the change as required by law. The Mills government was in turn criticized that the name Flagstaff House which was given to the building by the British Gold Coast government glorifies Ghana's Gold Coast past. The seat of government was moved back to Flagstaff House in January 2013 by John Dramani Mahama. The original budget for the reconstruction of $30m was a grant from the Indian government. However, BBC journalist David Amanor reported the construction may have cost as much as $45–50m. Building of the palace was overseen by an Indian contractor who used Ghanaian sub-contractors.

Following the 2016 Ghanaian general elections, Nana Akufo-Addo the flag-bearer of the New Patriotic Party, succeeded John Mahama as the 13th president of Ghana and the fifth of the Fourth Republic after winning by a landslide. He won a second term on 9 December 2020 in a tightly contested race against National Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate and former president, John Mahama. He focused his campaign on the economy, promising to stabilize the country's foreign exchange rate and to reduce unemployment levels.Akufo-Addo faced a banking crisis during his first term. The major policies in his first term were the Free SHS policy, which made access to Senior High school in Ghana free, and the One district, one factory policy. In 2017, he declared an environmental war on illegal artisanal mining in Ghana. Akufo-Addo's government provided several responses to the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on Ghana's economy. His foreign policy entailed strengthening ties between Ghana and the African diaspora. This included fostering relations with nations of the Caribbean. Akufo-Addo also ratified the African Continental Free Trade Area and supported intra-African trade.
Kudus Research And Advocacy Center with the Domestic affairs started with education as it’s the biggest single policy and program initiative Nana Akuffo-Addo Jubilee house legacy would leave forever hence it would be looked into based on its economic political and social impact. The Free Secondary High School (Free SHS) education policy was introduced in the 2017 September. The policy was a part of the president's presidential campaign during the Ghana's 2016 election period, and has become an essential part of Ghana's educational system. Economic impact of Free SHS :Increase in enrollments since the implementation of the double track system. The anticipation for high school students to join career fields in the public sector that necessitate tertiary education, could now be further encouraged. A gap reduction has formed in university graduates who acquire degrees without the achievement of secondary studies. Previously, 70% of high school students that desired government employee positions by the age of 25 was realistically achieved by only 6% of that percentage.Through the policy, the labour market has expanded in diverse fields with more educated individuals to progress the nation's development.Studies highlighted that students with higher economic capital in comparison to their economically disadvantaged peers are given an abundance of educational opportunities.Promoting free high school education became an argument that it would fuel Ghana's economic growth. The Free SHS policy widens the eligibility and success rate of these educational opportunities with an aim for the individual to develop into a societal asset. Political Impact of Free SHS:The policy prioritizes student welfare. Thus, it encourages young people to be more politically conscious and engaged with political affairs. It has built voter's confidence for a lot of senior high school students and their families where support for political parties are now reliant on recognized party results and not on party philosophies. The non-discriminatory nature of the Free SHS policy has improved political awareness and functionality within Ghana, through its ability to be both a political promise to society and eventually become a successful product of it. It has encouraged citizen understanding and trustworthiness of taxation in the belief that the tax will directly contribute to financing the policy. The Free SHS policy is a testament to modern day democratic politics where an initial intention results in an effective political impact, and where policy and laws are executed in favour of the development of citizens and their society. Social Impact of Free SHS:The policy lifted the financial burden for most parents, who can now be more supportive in their child's academia without feeling dependent on scholarships or private benefits. In aim to afford long term educational costs, lower income households commonly neglect the short term educational costs. Hence tuition payment for parents and guardians was essential obligation and the purchasing of school equipment became secondary needs. The Free SHS policy covers the primary and secondary expenditure that caregivers were burdened to provide despite their economic incapability to do so. Initially most parents would pay for secondary school tuition based on their own ability to understand their child's competency, but are now relieved of the social hindrance of choosing some children over others to be educated.

The ICUMS serves as a window through which all documents and payments are processed. The introduction of the new system was met with rejection from some stakeholders such as the Ghana Institute of Freight Forwarders who questioned its efficacy. The government justified their decision to execute the use of the new management system after statistical data from the GRA in December 2020 revealed that the ICUMS generated GH¢10.5 billion between June and December, 2020, which was higher on a year-on-year comparison with the previous paperless software program in terms of revenue generation.

Kudus Research And Advocacy Center perspective of Nana Akuffo-Addo Jubilee House noted that it was characterized with promised made and kept especially that its campaign flagship policy like that of the Education sector the infamous Free Senior High School policy, Health Infrastructure Roads Sports among others, despite these numerous achievements initiatives and developments , it was also rocked with numerous scandals and controversies, we as an organization would use these opportunity make it clear that Nana Akuffo Jubilee House expertise advisors and political consultant where not in solicited abroad but in Ghana as many believed and peddled about his constant and consistent travel abroad during his presidency, On authority many administration advise and political consultancy were sourced from us as an organization Kudus Research And Advocacy Center directly or indirectly either our Executive director Yussif Abdul Kudus affiliates or pseudo avenue either with the Canadians or the Americans. If indeed Nana Akuffo Addo Jubilee house was one of it kind that will never happened again be it major policies and programs initiated and implemented scandals or controversies despite we lacked knowledge or direct access to primary information of exactly what really transpired in Nana Akuffo-Addo Jubilee house his source of expertise consultancy or even advisors was in mystery as Kudus Research And Advocacy seeks answers from Nana Akuffo Addo, his campaign Manager Pete Mac Menu (2016 and 2020), the Northern regional secretary of the New Patriotic Party Lawyer Suley Sambian (2018) others whether indeed our consultancy or expertise solicited and was made readily available was put into use and if it was then we advised proper reconstructive way of humbling acknowledge honoring and we can settled it as stakeholders rather than already compiled domestic and international complaints continues hunting and pursuing to deal with it in their own way its better you get us involved to deal with it rather in our own way with little or even no financial moneys involved rather than millions of dollars and humiliatingly jailed term and bad precedents for others tomorrow. But also we also must acknowledge the fact that could have been international pressure or other pressure on your government not to honor or get us directly involved ie Yussif Abdul Kudus or Kudus Research And Advocacy Center now a state man can make amends our doors are opened
Nana Akuffo-Addo Jubilee House also failed to honor party loyalty rather than who it felt could handle things on their way put them into vantage positions to serve their purpose and interest as most appointments was left into the hands of his family members and friends Gabby Otchere Darko who was been called the defacto Prime Minister of the Nana Akuffo Addo Jubilee most at times did many appointments and deals of the party without knowing the grassroots of the party indeed not surprise Nana Akuffo government was described as Family and Friends government, also Nana Akuffo-Addo Jubilee House didn’t open doors for party members but those with the highest bid,it didn’t open doors for party tradition but its quest to satisfy special interest agenda or at worst to utter party history traditional way of doing things and Nation history, that’s evident in their heaviest defeat in 2024 general election both presidential and parliamentary, choice of presidential candidate deviated from party tradition among many noted by us as an organization on Nana Akuffo-Addo Jubilee House
