Hanypay partners with Chinese manufacturers to empower African businesses with AKL Lumi Digital Currency

Hanypay, Africa’s rapidly growing digital payment platform, has just announced a strategic collaboration with Chinese suppliers and manufacturers, including Mr. Michael from EVPS Ahui Power Co. in China, to offer African businesses unprecedented access to the Chinese markets.

This partnership, made official at the 138th China Canton Fair, positions Hanypay to expand its reach and provide businesses across the continent with access to the AKL Lumi digital currency through Hanymarket, Africa’s upcoming online marketplace.

The collaboration comes on the heels of major milestones for Hanypay, including the successful integration of AKL Lumi as a cross-border digital payment solution and the completion of its M-Pesa equivalent service to be unveiled in the coming days, making it easier for African businesses to transact East Africa through Hanypay Kenya. With AKL Lumi, Hanypay users can engage in fast, secure, and low-cost transactions, making it an attractive option for businesses looking to tap into the global marketplace.

“We are excited by the overwhelmingly positive response from suppliers at the China Canton Fair who are eager to do business with Africa through Hanymarket,” said a Hanypay spokesperson. “This partnership strengthens our vision of making Africa a hub for digital commerce, while empowering businesses to leverage the power of AKL Lumi for more accessible and transparent cross-border transactions.”

In a further boost to Hanypay’s expansion, the AKL Lumi digital currency has officially been approved by Zambia’s Central Bank, solidifying its position as a trusted and regulated digital asset for businesses in Zambia. This approval is a key milestone in Hanypay’s mission to bring financial inclusion to all, providing African businesses with a reliable and compliant digital payment option.

“With the Zambia Central Bank’s approval, we are not only expanding our reach across Africa, but also providing businesses with a government-regulated digital currency solution,” said the spokesperson. “This paves the way for safer and more efficient business transactions in Zambia ”

Hanypay’s expansion into 18 African nations, coupled with its licensing by the African Diaspora Central Bank (ADCB), marks a significant step toward modernizing Africa’s financial ecosystem. The company’s platform, with its new M-Pesa- functionality and AKL Lumi integration, empowers businesses to navigate the complexities of international trade with greater ease and security.

The upcoming launch of Hanymarket an online marketplace often referred to as “Africa’s Alibaba,” and M-Pesa will further revolutionize the African business landscape. As suppliers and manufacturers from around the world continue to show interest in partnering with the platform, African businesses can expect unprecedented access to high-quality goods, services, and global suppliers.

African entrepreneurs, suppliers, and manufacturers are encouraged to register their AKL Lumi business wallets. By doing so, they can gain early access to Hanymarket and start connecting with global suppliers and manufacturers across various industries.

“We’re on the brink of a new era for business in Africa,” said the Hanypay team. “The integration of AKL Lumi, the completion of our M-Pesa service, and the approval by the Zambia Central Bank represent a turning point for Africa’s digital economy. With Hanymarket launching soon, we invite businesses across the continent to join us and be part of this exciting journey.”
