New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer aspirant, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, has touted his track record in job creation.

According to the veteran politician and businessman, he has used his own resources to create thousands of jobs for many Ghanaians.

In a social media post on Monday, October 13, the former Assin Central MP pledged to create even more employment opportunities if elected President.

“I’ve created thousands of jobs through my own hard work and resources.

“With your support, I’ll create even more job opportunities for both certificate and non-certificate holders. I’ve done it before, and I’ll do it bigger for Ghana,” he wrote on X.

Meanwhile, Mr. Agyapong picked the number one spot on the ballot for the January 31, 2026 contest.

He was followed by Abetifi MP, Dr. Bryan Acheampong, with former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia taking the third position.

Former Education Minister Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum and former NPP General Secretary Kwabena Agyei Agyepong took the fourth and fifth positions, respectively.

His campaign spokesperson, Kwasi Kwarteng, described their campaign as “an act of God,” likening it to how David was chosen by God to replace King Saul in the Bible.

Speaking to the media before the balloting of candidates on Friday, October 10, Mr. Kwarteng said the team remains focused on reaching delegates across the country to secure victory in the January 31 contest.
