Yentuminka Dadiesoaba residents commend Assembly Member for bridge repair
Residents of the Yentuminka Dadiesoaba electoral area in Assin Breku, Assin North district, have expressed gratitude to Hon. Elisha Sarpong, Assembly Member for Assin Breku Brasiako electoral area, for repairing a damaged bridge in their area.
The residents praised Sarpong for his selfless act, noting that the bridge's poor condition had caused difficulties for commuters, traders, and residents, especially during the rainy season.
They mentioned that the damaged bridge had led to erosion, affecting their homes, and made it challenging for vehicles to pass through.
The residents commended Sarpong for his initiative despite the area not being part of his electoral jurisdiction. They expressed appreciation for his support and acknowledged the positive impact of his actions on their lives.
Meanwhile, Hon. Elisha Sarpong said, "As a leader, it's my duty to ensure the welfare and safety of all residents, regardless of their electoral area. I believe that our shared humanity and the well-being of our community should always take precedence over political boundaries. When our neighbours thrive, we all thrive. I'm proud to have played a role in fixing this bridge, and I look forward to continuing our work together to build a stronger, more resilient community for everyone."
