Ghana to host 7th edition of Agrofood & Plastprintpack Exhibition in October

Accra is set to host the 7th edition of the agrofood & plastprintpack Ghana 2025, one of West Africa’s premier trade shows for the agriculture, food processing, and packaging industries.

The three-day event will take place from October 28 to 30, 2025, at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).

Organised by fairtrade and ACE Group in collaboration with Geovision, this year’s edition promises to be the most vibrant yet, bringing together leading players from across the agrofood and plastics value chains, government agencies, and international exhibitors.

A Premier Platform for Industry Growth

The biennial event serves as a major platform for innovation, trade, and knowledge exchange within Ghana’s fast-growing agribusiness, food technology, and packaging sectors. Building on the success of its previous six editions, the 2025 edition will feature a high-level conference programme where policymakers, technology experts, and industry leaders will discuss topics such as agribusiness development, sustainable packaging, and circular economy strategies.

Global Participation and New Pavilions

A key highlight for 2025 is the introduction of new country pavilions that will showcase global innovation and promote regional cooperation:

In total, exhibitors from 15 countries — including China, Germany, India, Kenya, the Netherlands, South Korea, and the United Arab Emirates — will participate, showcasing technologies and solutions tailored for Ghanaian and West African markets.

Strong Track Record and Market Growth
The 2023 edition drew 63 exhibitors from 12 countries, with 89 percent reporting high satisfaction levels. Organisers say this strong feedback has set the stage for a bigger and more impactful 2025 show.

Recent data highlights Ghana’s growing potential in the agrofood and packaging sectors:

A Hub for Business and Innovation
The organisers, fairtrade Messe GmbH & Co. KG, and ACE Group, say agrofood & plastprintpack Ghana 2025 will once again serve as the region’s leading networking, learning, and investment platform.

“After six highly successful editions, we are proud to continue connecting Ghana’s vibrant agro-industrial community with global technology leaders,” said Martin März, Managing Director of fairtrade.

The 2025 event will reaffirm Ghana’s role as a gateway to West Africa’s agribusiness and manufacturing opportunities, providing a space for partnerships, innovation, and growth.
