Reusable Bags Gh and Nalike Africa Educates 5 communities on Climate Action
On September 27th, Reusable Bags Gh, in collaboration with Nalike Africa, embarked on a heartfelt journey to five vibrant communities in the Volta Region.
As part of our second edition of the Edu-Climate project, we actively engaged with community leaders and enthusiastic children, sparking enlightening discussions about the pressing issue of climate change and its far-reaching effects.
The initiative touched the lives of over 250 individuals from diverse backgrounds. Each child was delighted to receive educational materials, including colorful backpacks and comprehensive mathematical sets, designed to inspire their learning journey.
Beyond these gifts, we conducted immersive training sessions, emphasizing the vital importance of environmental stewardship. The children learned practical ways they can positively impact their surroundings, fostering a sense of responsibility and empowerment.
Witnessing the transformation in a community where only 2 percent of the children had access to school bags was truly uplifting. We ensured that every child received a new bag, a symbol of hope and support for their education. Our mission also included nurturing awareness about climate issues and encouraging community leadership, empowering them to become the change-makers for a sustainable future.
