Dr. Bawumia, A Man With Rich And Live-changing Ideas: He Is A Doer Not Just A Dreamer

It is uncontestable fact that H. E. Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has rich ideas that have changed and touched many lives across the country as a Vice President. He has made an indelible mark, serving Ghana as a Vice President and this is a known fact. He is widely acknowledged as the most successful Vice President in the Fourth Republic. And this is not due to his wealth of money but wealth of ideas implemented that Ghanaians continue to benefit on daily basis.

Just yesterday, I comfortably checked the validity of our National Health Insurance Cards at home and got to know that two of my children's cards were expired. I didn't have to wait till today, a working day to travel to the Metropolitan Health Insurance Office to queue and renew the expired cards as it used to be but I conveniently renewed them through my mobile money wallet. Dr. Bawumia doesn't just dream but he delivers to the benefit of many not just a few. He delivers with no personal monetary interest.

Dr. Bawumia's innovative idea of medical drone delivery service is saving thousands of lives across the country with delivery of essential medicine, vaccines, blood and blood products to many healthcare facilities. When we talk of rich ideas, this is one of those. This is an idea some advanced countries have acknowledged to be innovative and are freely coping from Ghana. Dr. Bawumia is a Doer not just a Dreamer. His dreams come through.

Another interesting experience I recently had in one pharmacy shop is the QR Code system of payment. It was seamlessly done with my mobile money wallet and the drug was purchased with more transparency and accountability. Dr. Bawumia launched this QR Code payment system and we are benefiting from it. It is about ideas and results that benefit the general public.

When Dr. Bawumia talks about rich ideas, they don't understand or they refuse to understand because the paperless port system operating now in Ghana is benefiting importers and Ghanaians with no confusion as we used to witness. It has reduced bureaucracy and for that matter corruption in clearing of goods at the ports. Genuine businessmen and businesswomen appreciate the fact that Dr. Bawumia doesn't only dream but he translates his dreams into realities where they directly benefit.

Ghana card is benefiting Ghanaians across the country. Ghanaians yearned for a single Natiomal ID card that bears ones true identity and it has come to pass. The benefits of Ghana card are countless. The ideas of Dr. Bawumia are not just dreams but they translate into realities for the benefit of all.

When you mention Digital Address System who comes to mind is obviously Dr. Bawumia. People didn't believe it can be done in Ghana but now it is a reality. Dr. Bawumia has rich ideas with big results - he is a Doer.

Gold purchase program by Bank of Ghana is Dr. Bawumia's idea that has resulted into unprecedented accumulation of gold at the Bank, increasing Ghana's gold reserves with more 'shock absorbers'. Dr. Bawumia's dreams are beyond a company but national and international in character. His ideas are not contract-grabbing ideas.

Dr. Bawumia is simply a man with rich ideas accompany by impactful results that cannot be exhausted in this write-up. At least, it is publicly known that Dr. Bawumia has singlehandedly contributed to not less than thirty (30) policy interventions as a Vice President of Ghana. Dr. Bawumia is indeed a man with rich ideas and a Doer.
