On the ongoing conversation within the rank and file of the NPP and the public at large. The best-suited candidate to lead the NPP is on the lips of many with great enthusiasm and passion.

Among those who have expressed their intention to contest and subsequently lead the NPP moving into the 2028 election as the Flagbearer is no other person than the consummate Politician, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.

In one of his quotes, "there's value in political consistency,, and this statement reflects on the need for the NPP to be consistent, and since it will reap the right fruit for the Party's desire to recapture power.

In simple terms, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia's campaign is hinged on the above three valuable and important areas, i.e, the most prepared, the formidable, and a winnable candidate.

As an ardent supporter of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, I will use this piece to articulate the above-mentioned and further give a detailed breakdown on why he is a well-prepared, formidable, and invaluable candidate for the NPP.

There is no denying the fact that Dr Mahamudu Bawumia is the only one most prepared to lead the NPP again going into the 2028 elections. He has been at the forefront for the past 16 years and served in different roles for the Party.

In the last 16 years of his political career, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has served as running mate three times, from 2008 to 2016, and he understands the ins and outs of Ghana's democratic dispensation.

Again, he served as Vice President for 8 years and elevated the office of the Vice President to another level by being an active participatory leader with innovative policies to his credit which are crucial in the Nation's growth and development.

His high emotional intelligence and composure make him stand out as a leader who is not carried away by emotions and remains strong enough to make decisions and he is the caliber of leader the NPP can't afford to lose.

For someone to win power for the NPP, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia is the most winnable candidate and doubtless, he is the one with the spirit of winning power. Despite the loss of the 2024 election, which was a result of certain circumstances beyond the Party's control.

Take it or leave it, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia is a winnable candidate and in the best position to recapture power since some of his policies are yielding the desired results, and Ghanaians are waiting with bated breath to experience a smart and innovative leadership of a viable policies-driven government.
