Ejurahene prays for Muslim community in Ghana as Ramadan begins
The Chief of Ejura Divisional Council, Barimah Osei Hwedie II, has extended his warmest wishes and prayers to the Muslim community in Ghana as they commence this year's Ramadan fast.
In a gesture of goodwill and solidarity, the renowned chief, known for his love and support for the Muslim community, prayed for God to grant them strength and endurance throughout the fasting period.
Sheikh Usman Nuhu Sharubutu, Ghana's Chief Imam, officially announced the commencement of Ramadan on Saturday, March 1, 2025, following the confirmed sighting of the crescent moon in parts of the Upper West, Ashanti, and Savanna regions.
Millions of Muslims across Ghana have begun the fast, and the Ejurahene expressed his gratitude to the Muslim community for their contributions to national development.
