President Mahama Extracts The Gold In Dr. Frank Amoakohene For Ashanti Region. Is It Otumfuo Nana Osei Tutu II Whisper?

Ashanti Region has gifted one of their best to represent them very well in the boat of President John Mahama. A huge jewel identified by the NDC Ashanti Region, extracted by H. E. John Dramani Mahama, refined by Otumfuo Nana Osei Tutu II, and marketed by the people of Ashanti Region to be a huge magnet that will attract development into the region.

Provided the people living in Ashanti region will bury partisanship in the deepest pit never to be seen again, and embrace this gift of a Change Agent that they have been endowed with, they will live to be proud of themselves even more for coming together at least for once to give a brilliant, intelligent and proactive minded young man of their land with a great plan for the region, that golden opportunity to be a symbol of hope for the youth. For such an opportunity was some many years back equally given to the young ones to revolutionize education in the Ashanti region. The vehicle used then was the Otumfuo Education Fund.

I am referring to the Ashanti Regional Minister designate, Dr. Frank Amoakohene. His excellent delivery recently when he appeared before the vetting committee to the admiration of all being the youngest of the appointed ministers so far cannot go without commendation. All he needs to transform the region is the support of all. The support of Chiefs and Queen mothers, Market women and men, farmers, business men and women and the people of the region.

If Dr. Amoakonhene will be honest with the people, respect the elders of the NDC, Chiefs and people of Ashanti Region and always be at the service of his people, many will not be surprised if he becomes the longest serving Regional Minister of Ashanti region.

He must never be in haste to start thinking about wanting to become a Parliamentary candidate, as has been the pathway of many, but rather focus on helping his party NDC get more young boys and girls grow professionally like his good self in Ashanti Region. If he serves the people well, in January 2045, he stands the chance of being a Vice president of the Republic, and to continue as a president if he wishes to chart that path, and it begins now. I know I am thinking very wild, but the characteristics that he exhumed responding to questions put before him at the appointment committee vetting informed my wild reasoning.

It is important and crucial to state that if President Mahama will not be remembered for anything at all, his choice of Ministers and Chief Executives will have Ghanaians singing his name in the future. His appointments have been spot on and ignited some degree of confidence reposed in the youth as the driving force of Ghana he looks forward to resetting. It is evident also that in just some few weeks following his inauguration, he has already fulfilled one of his promise to the youth, and has giving life to one of the lines in his inaugural speech,

“Ghana’s Youth is the Heartbeat of our Democracy”

Yes indeed! The youth have been appreciated even before the work began. If we were to carefully examine the demeanor of those appointed for now, and carefully listen to them during the vetting, they have one or more of the admirable characteristics of H. E. John Mahama.

The Elders and the older experienced members of the NDC must be commended in the highest order for not being an obstacle in this revolution, and for nurturing and helping shape these young brains to the admiration of the President’s unique selecting prowess.

All the president’s advisors must give themselves a big tap at the back for their inputs. They must know that by this singular act of theirs, they are solidly on point in my opinion, and must not be distracted by hash and empty rhetoric and slanders to soon visit their door steps. It appears Ghanaians can now breathe some air of competence after years of suffocation of incompetence.

My advice to the Ministers and CEOs appointed is simple, and it is, they must endeavor to do Less Talk, but more Positive Actions, as they Walk their Talk.
