Ablakwa has advocated for a National Presidential Travel Policy to regulate and ensure transparency in such expenditures.

Ablakwa has also spearheaded investigations into the controversial National Cathedral project. He exposed alleged irregularities in the procurement processes, revealing opaque

contractual arrangements and questionable financial practices. Notably, he uncovered evidence of millions of cedis paid to a company without parliamentary approval, raising critical questions about accountability and the prioritization of national resources. While Ablakwa has previously served as a Deputy Minister of Education, and his qualifications make him capable of being a Minister of Education, assigning him to this role would amount to under-utilizing his unique abilities. Ablakwa’s exploits and expertise in diplomacy, international relations, and advocacy for global cooperation make him better suited for the role of foreign affairs minister, where he can maximize his impact.

It is often said that while one may be qualified for a role, one may not necessarily be the most suitable candidate. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa is undoubtedly qualified to serve as a Minister of Education, given his previous experience. However, his exceptional track record in foreign diplomacy and international relations demonstrates that his skills and vision align better with the Foreign Affairs portfolio. Assigning him to the role of Education Minister would not only be a misplacement of talent but also a missed opportunity to fully leverage his abilities for Ghana's benefit on the global stage.

Ewes across the country and all Ghanaians are urged to rally behind Ablakwa’s candidacy for this vital role.
