‘We have plans to fix Ghana, reset the economy’ — Mahama assures

Former President John Dramani Mahama has reiterated his commitment to transforming Ghana’s economic fortunes if elected in the upcoming 2024 elections.

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, in a series of posts on his social media platforms on Monday, December 2, outlined key strategies he intends to implement to address the country’s economic challenges and improve the quality of life for Ghanaians.

“We have the plans to fix Ghana. We will remove unfair taxes, reset the economy, and create new jobs,” he assured.

Mr. Mahama further pledged to prioritize healthcare reform through cost-effective infrastructure development and improved working conditions for medical personnel.

According to him, the NDC administration will focus on upgrading existing medical facilities to make healthcare delivery more accessible and efficient.

“The NDC will deploy cost-effective strategies to expand infrastructure, upgrade existing medical facilities, train and motivate health workers to improve healthcare delivery,” he stated.

He also emphasized the NDC’s '24-Hour Economy' initiative as a critical driver for delivering better healthcare and services to all citizens.

“Supported by the 24-Hour Economy, we will ensure better healthcare for all Ghanaians,” the former President remarked.
