Ibrahim Mahama donates 35-seater bus to Tamale Senior High School

In a generous gesture, Ibrahim Mahama, the younger brother of former President John Dramani Mahama and CEO of Engineers & Planners Ltd, has donated a brand-new 35-seater bus to his alma mater, Tamale Senior High School (TAMASCO).

The donation aims to support the school's National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) team, facilitating their transportation and enhancing their overall performance.

The bus was presented during a student durbar last Friday in Tamale by Rafik Mahama, Special Aide to Ibrahim Mahama and CEO of Dzata Cement Ltd.

According to Rafik Mahama, the donation reflects Mr. Ibrahim Mahama’s commitment to improving the lives of students on campus and supporting the less privileged in society.

Receiving the donation, the Headmaster of TAMASCO, Mr. Mohammed Yakubu Mustapha, expressed his profound gratitude. He commended Mr. Mahama for his dedication to giving back to his community and supporting the development of young minds.

"The donation will significantly enhance the school's academic and extracurricular performance," the Headmaster noted.

In addition to the bus donation, Mr. Mahama is funding the construction of a 1,200-capacity ultra-modern dormitory for the school. The project, which is 90% complete, is expected to address accommodation challenges faced by students on campus.
