I caused NDC’s defeat in the 2020 polls for demolishing my Church – Prophet Atara

The General Overseer and leader of Believers Grace Crown Ministry International, Prophet Joseph Atara has revealed that he caused the defeat of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2020 elections for demolishing his church building.

While speaking in an interview on Kingdom FM monitored by MyNewsGh.com, Prophet Atara disclosed that a demolition exercise took place in Adenta some time back which caused him to lose his church building.

According to him, the instructions came from the opposition NDC, however, during the demolition, a church in the same area was not pulled down due to an “order from above.”

He mentioned that because of how his church was demolished by the NDC, he also prayed and did his own direction which caused the defeat of the NDC in 2020.

“When I made that declaration and did that direction, I heard one pastor say on the radio that if NDC doesn’t win the 2020 elections, he won’t preach again. I pensioned him. He used to preach on Angel FM. They took his airtime and platform away from him”, Prophet Atara bragged.

Prophet Atara disclosed that he still bares grudges against the NDC over the demolished church, emphasizing that unless the party comes forward to render an unqualified apology to him, he will make them lose the elections once again in 2024

“Even the Bible says that if you commit a sin, ask God for forgiveness because he is faithful. So if you offend me and you don’t apologize, can I forgive you?” he questioned.
