Celebrating The Birthday Of Francis Asenso-Boakye, A Man Who Is Worth Celebrating

Dear Honorable Francis Asenso-Boakye,
Permit me to put the spotlight on you as you celebrate your forty-seventh(47th) birthday today to honour you and reflect on your impeccable journey and impact you have made on our society. Before I proceed to write anything, let me give thanks and praises to Almighty God for His guidance, protection, and bountiful mercies over you for all these years. It is my continuous prayer that He keeps adding more years fraught with joy, prosperity, devine guidance, blessings, and good health. I also thank your parents for bringing you forth. It is their union that has made it possible for the Bantama constituency to be specific, and the NPP and mother Ghana in general to have such a valuable asset like you. Your wife equally deserves commendation for being a strong pillar behind all your success stories.

Sir, your pursuits in academia, profession, and politics are a motivation for the youth. From a humble beginning in Bantama in the Ashanti region, you broke all odds and became a development planner with a class, a project management and policy development expert par excellence, an entrepreneur with a difference and a politician of immense repute. This is a clear demonstration that environment should not be a setback to one realizing his or her dream and that with dedication and a sense of purpose, one can realize his or her dream despite the hiccups.

As a politician, you have breathed air into a lot of people who were at the point of death and gasping for air. Through your acts of benevolence and lobbying prowess, many youth of your constituency are gainfully employed and contributing to their family budget.

As I celebrate your professional and political achievements on this special day of yours, it is also apt to celebrate your personal qualities of humility, dedication, compassion and hard work(traits that are largely responsible for your surge in life). As a youth activist in your youthful days, you worked tirelessly with your colleagues and birthed TESCON which you became its founding president. Undoubtedly, TESCON has become a training platform grooming a lot of responsible politicians.

Your appointment as a political assistant to president Nana Akuffo Addo at the time he was the NPP presidential candidate, deputy chief of staff in the first term of Nana Addo 's government, Works and Housing minister abd Roads and Highways minister in his second term and sterling performance you chalked in those portfolios is a crystal clear demonstration of your abilities and competencies. It is no doubt that that in 2022/2023, you were adjudged the Distinguished Infrastructure Minister of the year by the Ghana Chamber of Construction Industry.

Sir, you have been a bridge between many youth and their dreams. I only pray to God to keep giving you the strength so that you keep serving humanity as you are noted for.
