Former President John Dramani Mahama has recently voiced skepticism about the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) claim of creating 2 million jobs over the past seven and a half years. It is shocking when state state institutions declared things in his favour they find them credible but if it does not favor them they want Ghanaians to consider unlikely.

While his administration made efforts to address employment issues, the scale of job creation and economic impact during his time did not match the current administration's achievements. The NPP has demonstrated a capacity for driving economic growth and generating employment opportunities that surpass the results of the previous government.
