Let us reject this deceptive and incoherent Vice President of Ghana

Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia was sold to Ghanaians as the personality who has the magic wand to assist Nana Akufo Addo in solving the economic woes that have befall us as a people.

Unfortunately, we were hoodwinked to believe the deception and we voted for these people who were reckless and clueless in administering the state of the ship.

Ghanaians must be angry with the theatrics at play, while President Nana Addo is touting the achievements of his Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia sadly the Vice President has distanced himself from that assertion and refused to be associated with the imaginary achievement.

It is strange a sitting Vice President has dissociated himself from the failures of a government he is the number two in command. Arguably he labeled himself as a driver's mate, therefore the failures of their government were the sole responsibility of his boss President Nana Akufo Addo.

While President Nana Addo is appealing to the electorates to consider and vote for Dr Bawumia as his successor, Dr Bawumia on the other hand does not want to be associated with the abysmal performance of his boss which he does not want to associate with, therefore he would want to campaign on his achievement. This theatrics is very nauseating and an insult to the sensibility of the good people of Ghana.

Strangely for the first time in the fourth Republic, a sitting Vice President failed to run on the performance of their government because he is not comfortable with their achievements in government, hence he didn't want to take responsibility for their failures, and would not want to be embarrassed by the electorates if they should question him on their abysmal performance.

It's highly surprising Dr Bawumia takes credit for the good policies of the NPP government and parries the abysmal performance of their government on his Boss the president, this is a betrayal of trust to someone than the Presidential Candidate Nana Akufo Addo who tried and convince the members of National Executive Committee of the NPP to accept Dr Bawumia who was then not a card bearing member of the NPP as his running mate.

The economic whiz kid Nana Akufo Addo confidently marketed to Ghanaians as the one who has the magic wand of transforming Ghana's economy. It was our expectation Dr Bawumia would use the answers to the 170 questions he posed to Vice President Amissah Arthur (late) to solve the economic downturn that has bedevilled the economy. It is now clear he is a theorist and has no answers to the questions he posed to then Vice President Amissah Arthur.

Now that Dr Bawumia the Vice President of Ghana is expected to account for his stewardship, he has refused to take responsibility for the role his boss President Akufo Addo assigned him and has shifted the blame onto his boss because he was reduced to the role of a Driver's mate

Listening to Dr Bawumia the presidential candidate of the NPP on the campaign trail, his messages were Incoherent and deceptive. How could a driver's mate perform better than a Co-Driver? and also has a penchant for taking credit for good policies and rebuffing bad policies and programs.

Dr Mahamudu Bawumia claims he has introduced thirty three (33) policies and what are the impacts of those policies.? the dollar he arrested and the key handed over to the IGP is galloping to twenty Ghana cedis (ghc20.00), food prices at all time high, fuel and cement cost gallivanting, electricity tariffs more than house rents and above all they have borrowed more money than any administration since independence.

Ghanaians must go to the poll with anger on December 7th 2024 and massively vote out this reckless government that has treated the citizens like their slaves. The message must be loud to deter subsequent governments after this wicked corrupt administration from taking the citizens for granted.
