It’s imperative to support the needy – Jibril Mohammed

Mr. Jibril Mohammed, of the JBC Group of Companies and the JBC Charity Organization, has emphasized the importance of supporting the underprivileged in society.

He made these remarks during the commissioning of the Al-Anood School and Clinic in Asuboi, Eastern Region, Ghana, last week.

Expressing his gratitude, Mr. Mohammed acknowledged the contributions of the Qatar Ghana Charity Organization, a humanitarian and development NGO, and its donors for bringing this impactful initiative to the community of Asuboi. "Your efforts will leave a lasting impact not only on our community but also on neighboring communities," he said.

He described the project as a gift to the community and urged the residents to embrace it and work together to ensure its success.

Nana Beema Boateng, the Chief of Asuboi, shared his excitement about the development and encouraged parents to take full advantage of the new facilities, emphasizing that no child should be deprived of this opportunity. He also assured JBC Charity and Qatar Charity of his support, stating, "Our doors are always open to you for any developmental projects."

Mrs. Josephine Awuku Ansaa Inkoom, District Chief Executive of Ayensuano, called on everyone to support the charity project and ensure its sustainability. She expressed her gratitude to Qatar Charity for the initiative and highlighted the district's willingness to assist from the project's inception. "Periodically, Qatar Charity will join us to explore ways to extend their help to other communities," she added.

Mrs. Ikram Ahmed, an advocate for women's development and girl-child education, appealed to the Asuboi community to prioritize environmental education. She reiterated JBC Charity Foundation's commitment to managing the facility and strengthening relations with Qatar to benefit disadvantaged communities in Africa.

The National Chief Imam, Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu, who participated in the commissioning, praised all stakeholders involved in making the project a reality.
