'Judgement will befall 'Babylon' Ghana until we repent' — Prophet Oduro reacts to naked all-black party
Prophet Kofi Oduro, General Overseer of Alabaster Ministry International, has condemned the recent All-Black Party held at Ridge Condos, likening the event to the sinful cities of Sodom and Gomorrah.
The controversial party, which went viral on social media due to attendees' racy outfits and the presence of prominent businessmen, has sparked outrage online.
Prophet Oduro expressed his dismay during a sermon, describing the event as "straight from the pit of hell" and warning that divine judgement would befall those involved and the nation at large.
"Recently in Kumasi, there was an All-Black nightclub party. Women were virtually naked! Ghana, you’re Sodom and Gomorrah; until you repent, judgement is on your head. From the top to the down," he declared.
He also questioned the Ghana Police Service’s awareness of the event, noting that this was the second time such a party had taken place.
"I want to ask the Ghana Police Service whether they saw the All-Black party because this is the second time," he said.
Prophet Oduro further lamented the rise of strip clubs in Accra and the growing culture of promiscuity among both young and old, noting that even prominent figures are engaging in morally questionable behaviour.
"Now we have nightclubs that host naked people. There are full-stripper nightclubs in the city. The police can’t go there.
"If this nation is not Babylonia, you will not have prominent people like MPs, chiefs, and so on, chasing small girls. A girl that is fit to be a grandchild, and this girl is calling a grey-headed man baby. Babylon! They strip a woman naked on a stripper table. Babylon!" he exclaimed.
He called on Ghanaians to repent to avoid divine retribution.
