2024 polls: ‘NDC has technical know-how to run government’ — Dr. Otokunor

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) 2024 Manifesto Planning Committee Chairman, Dr. Peter Otokunor, has touted the party's technical nous and experience in governing.

In an interview with Accra-based Citi FM, Dr. Otokunor asserted that the NDC has seasoned personnel with the know-how to effectively run the country.

"Everybody in Ghana knows that if it comes to emptiness, the NDC is not one of them. The NDC, if you want, is the only party in Ghana that when it comes to intellectual capacity, we are outstanding.

“We have those who have seen it, who have lived it, who have shown it, time without number that they understand what it is about policy, what it is about the technicalities of running a government," stated Dr. Otokunor.

He drew comparisons between the NDC and its main rival, stating "This election is a very interesting one. It is just like comparing alcohol and water. You know which one can burn your chest and the one that will not burn your chest."

The former NDC Deputy General Secretary further highlighted the experience Ghanaians have had with former President John Mahama's leadership.

“The people of Ghana have experienced President Mahama’s governance. We have experienced how he ran this country in four years and the outcome of President Mahama’s governance," he asserted.
