E/R: New Leaders Hotel supports Ohum Kan Festival

The management of New Leaders Hotel and Event Center in Akyem Tafo, Eastern Region, has generously supported this year’s Ohum Kan Festival with a donation of consumables and money.

The donation included boxes of bottled water, assorted drinks, and schnapps, which were presented to the chiefs and residents during the 2024 Ohum Kan Festival celebrations at Akyem Tafo.

According to the management team, this contribution is part of the hotel’s corporate social responsibility and support for local culture.

On behalf of CEO DSP Edward Appiah, General Manager Mr. Boateng expressed gratitude to Daasebere for his support and invaluable advice, which has significantly improved the business. He also assured the community of the hotel's continued support in areas such as healthcare, education, and sanitation.

“We value the efforts of our chiefs in creating and nurturing this community. This gesture signifies your acceptance of us. As a hotel, we are dedicated to providing quality services to ensure your comfort and satisfaction. We hope for continued support from the chiefs,” Mr. Boateng remarked.

Daasebere Adusei Peasah IV encouraged other investors to invest in the community to foster local development. He commended the hotel for creating job opportunities for local residents and urged the management to consider offering more jobs to the youth.

Daasebere Adusei Peasah IV assured the hotel management of his support, affirming that the Akyem Tafo communities will continue to regard the hotel as their preferred destination for accommodation.

The Ohum Kan Festival is an annual event celebrating the rich cultural heritage of Akyem Tafo. The seven-day festival features cultural performances that highlight Eastern traditions and customs.
