His vehemence, focus and intensity has become even more visible at the national Assembly where his Chairmanship of the Ecological Fund and Climate change Committee has opened another vista to demonstrate his media-friendly disposition.

Today, honour came knocking again, this time around by the Arewa Journalists Forum (AJF), a coalition of journalists from the 19 states of northern Nigeria, in Abuja for what they described as my sterling contributions to democracy, national development, good governance, service to humanity, tolerance and maturity. I describe him as Dickson the orator, Dickson the capacity building, Dickson the defender of the oppressed and Dickson the authentic VOICE OF THE NIGER DELTA REGION.
