Europe is courting Africa with love letters once again. We should not fall for it....
So, as we've zoomed in and are focused on Cecil Dapaah and on Alan Cash and on Kennedy Agyapong and Bawumia and on bank of Ghana and on the Ghana black stars, and on Abulai Tinibu, we do not have to loose sight of some undercover and undercurrent actions of a dubious and sinister nature. Yes, the Europeans are hovering around and about Africa again. They are coming again looking all good and nice.
This time, like all previous times, they come bearing gifts with love. The Europeans are fast realising that they are losing their influence and their grip on us Africans, so they are panicking. As most of us sit quietly and ignorantly reading our favourite books of wisdom, the Bible and the Quran, they the Europeans who's leadership recently said that theirs is a beautiful garden whilst the rest of humanity is a jungle.
Today, their senses tell them they need the jungle dwellers, the junglers to come to their aid for the hundredth occasion. But they are not admitting clearly in the open that they need our help. Instead, they present the situation as though we will be nothing without them. They have used these tricks so many times that people around the world have become wise to it, including many of us Africans. Unfortunately, this time, it is with the exception of our leaders.
Our African rulers, most of whom have become willing puppets to be pulled and be manoeuvred by colonials yet again for their survival while we wither and die. The colonials have a lot of sway over many of our leaders because most of the moneys stolen from Africa find their way back into Western banks. The Europeans are aware of this, and so do our corrupt leaders. Hopefully, this current wave of awareness and resistance to neocolonialism, a potential wind of freedom and change which our ancestors, including The Osagyefo( may God protect his soul).
We pray that what they prescribed for us all those long years ago will endure. Yes, Africa and Europe need each other, i.e., in trade, but this time, we must make sure it will be on our terms. Today, Europeans are promising Africans a seat on the UN Security Council. Who say man no dey, you go talk true. Walahi!
Nkrumah never dies. Long live his ideals. Mansa Musa is a true Nkrumahist, a true Ghanaian and a pure African.
After reading, please share. We need the next generations to keep on with the fight, a fight for a true emancipation. Thank you
