NDC proposes groundbreaking partnership with private sector for $3bn ICT infrastructure investment
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has unveiled a groundbreaking proposal to collaborate with the private sector in investing a staggering US$3 billion in an integrated Information and Communication Technology (ICT) infrastructure.
The ambitious project aims to establish a comprehensive onshore and offshore fibre super-highway, along with innovative electronic applications.
The party's Flagbearer, Mr. John Dramani Mahama, announced this visionary plan, emphasising its potential to revolutionize communication, commerce, civil liberties, and individual expressions within the nation.
Beyond transforming the ICT landscape, the investment is set to play a crucial role in supporting various national priorities, including advancements in health, education, agriculture, petroleum, and the power sectors.
