ECG MD Samuel Mahama vows to keep going after debtors
The Managing Director (MD) of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), Samuel Mahama has stressed that his outfit is working very hard to put the company in good standing.
The ECG on Monday, March 20, commenced a nationwide revenue mobilisation exercise targeted especially at state-owned institutions.

According to him, the company will continue to chase all companies and individuals to ensure they pay up.
“This exercise is one that we will continue to do at probably the tail end of every month.
“It will not just include the prepaid but also the post-paid to identify all illegal connections for the right thing to be done,” Samuel Mahama said.
The Managing Director of ECG further assured Ghanaians that the company is not on the brink of collapse as is rumoured.
“It’s [the future of the ECG] not threatened if we do the right thing and we’re doing the right thing. We are changing our future now and so everybody must help,” Samuel Mahama indicated.
