Justice systems kill justice

Flensburg, Germany: Years back a man was sentenced to life in imprisonment allegedly having killed his wife owner of hair salons based on indications, allegations by the children, and no dead body ever found.

Bavaria, Germany: Years back two daughters and their mother were acquitted of murder charges for having killed the father and husband after years of harmful misuse by the father.

Law systems over time and in different jurisdictions have constantly changed and will do so in time to come. Political systems and expectations of people's new unprecedented human behavior will be a constant challenge to mankind. Outside expectations in our closely connected world do not make law-making and law execution an easy profession.

Only the ten commandments are absolute anything added by the hands of humans is shaken by time and territory. Men tend not to make laws look like justice by the taste of leaders or groups but acceptable by the many in society. Written by human hands and executed by human hands it can never stage absolute wisdom and for that justice for all is valid universally and at all times. Justice is not a full-option insurance policy but is established. Justice systems by human hands can only work as a moderation process constantly in the making always evolving and changing.

At age 16 I witnessed as part of the visitors to a court hearing a man sentenced to 2 years imprisonment. The expert called to testify was unable to confirm the Rothhaendle cigarette found at the crime scene belong to the defendant a smoker of this kind of cigarette brand and a former employee of the company that had seen computers stolen by a thief entering through a light from the roof. The lawyer and the state prosecutor subsequently asked for the dismissal of the case yet after 5 minutes in his chamber the judge came out to hand him the 2-year judgment.

Justices must be independent of any outside influence. But does this apply to quality checks of their performance as well as judges go along over years of handing out verdicts? And why should societies pay compensation for wrong judgments when innocent people finally get released from prison while doctors, accountants, architects, and even private persons sign up for liability insurance to pay for any wrongdoing?

A better-matured justice system will follow the trend of society and implement quality check-ups. Each judgment can be converted into points under many different aspects. Each 2-4 years judges need to stand up to their results that do not look into the cases but the performance in different parts of the work done. This complex system does not mean it should not be established but for the sake of a better justice system being implemented. In politics quality check happens every 4 years, teachers check their students by marks and examination, companies their products by quality standards, and restaurants get checked by government officials, etc.

The fact that the personal background of a defendant is taken into account and not only the offense leaves big room for justice to taste as each court in the same jurisdiction will judge the same case differently which is not helping the system nor the idea of justice for all. Jesus Christ never cared about the intention or background of an offender but entirely focused on the offenses and connected both together to hand down his verdict, a verdict that stands for all at all times.

When no dead body is found and no evidence of proof is presented but serious speculations and indications are the basis of a court judgment law systems can seriously be questioned. When three women suffer at the hands of their father and husband for over 15 years without taking the demanded and possible steps to get away from the man and situation instead of killing him in the end walking out of the courtroom for free justice served is questionable asking for a fundamental overhaul of it to set up a better solution to serve as correct option citizens of the 21century.
