Congratulations to NDC branch executives and best wishes to constituency aspirants - Owusu Nkrumah Ababio

The former Deputy Regional Youth Organizer for the then Brong Ahafo Region, Owusu Nkrumah Ababio, has congratulated all the newly elected branch executive officers of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) at the just ended branch elections in the Ahafo Region.

Owusu Nkrumah Ababio, in his congratulatory message, urged the newly elected branch executives across the country, and in particular, in the Ahafo Region, to work assiduously for victory in 2024.

Owusu Nkrumah Ababio, who expressed confidence in the abilities of the newly elected branch officers in the Ahafo Region, heaped praises on the NDC members across the various branches for their active involvement in the just-ended branch elections.

According to Owusu Nkrumah Ababio, ''the general membership drive and the zeal of members at the branches in the just ended branch elections in the Ahafo Region demonstrated the level of readiness and the commitment of all to work for victory 2024''.

The former Deputy Regional Youth Organizer further admonished the defeated candidates not to renege on their core duties as NDC members but work for the collective good of the Party.

Owusu Nkrumah Ababio, who was optimistic about peaceful constituency elections in the Ahafo Region, expressed his best wishes to all the aspirants for the various positions as the Party officially opens nominations for the constituency elections.

The timetable

The General Secretary for the opposition National Democratic Congress on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at a press conference at the Party's Headquarters in Accra, released NDC's internal elections timetable and guidelines.

The General Secretary of the NDC, Mr Johnson Aseidu Nketia, said the timetable for the constituency, regional and national elections had been approved by the National Executive Committee of the party with the opening of nominations for the constituency elections on Tuesday, September 20, 2022.
