Hawa Koomson defends her shooting act before the Vetting Committee
Did Hawa Koomson needed to return fire as a result of circumstances such as that? Haruna Iddrisu poses the question to the nominee.
With such uncalled-for action in public, the president of the Republic of Ghana has thought it wise to promote her. Mr. President should rather push her to the ministry of defense since she is a good gun shooter.
Upon an interrogation from one of the vetting committee members, Hawa Koomson justifies her shoot saying, 'it was in defense of her life'.
The unasked question which I would like to put to the president is, 'will Hawa Koomson face criminal charges from shooting in a public square?'
I have a little trust in our investigation team when it comes to prosecuting criminals. As a result of this, I know very well that there will not be any court to prosecute her when charged with criminal charges.
