Lord, Empower Me

I. SON OF MAN, do you know that there are things in life that talent cannot do? That there are doors that money cannot open? That there are battles that strength cannot win? At that point, the only prayer left is ".” Brother, empowerment is God putting His ability in your inability. It is God backing you with heaven’s resources to do earth’s assignments. Today we will pray: for purpose, for battle, for service, and for breakthrough. Sometimes we think we can do it alone, without God; that’s where we begin to fail. In Zechariah 4:6 we are reminded of the limitations of men: “Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,” says the Lord Almighty. And in Acts 1:8 we are assured of power: “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you.” When you are empty, God fills you, and when you are broken, God strengthens you; that is the empowerment you must seek for today. Empowerment is God’s enablement for victory—Ephesians 6:10: “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.” It is not your power. It is His power working through you.

II. WOMEN OF JERUSALEM, hear that word: empowerment is God’s sustaining grace for the journey. In Isaiah 40:29 we are assured that the LORD "gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.” through the protracted struggles; to wait, to endure, and to overcome. Lord! Empower me to overcome the marital problems. with patience, wisdom, and love to restore my home. LORD! Empower me to help the cast down— to be a vessel of comfort and hope; LORD! EMPOWER ME FOR SPIRITUAL WARFARE. Today, I acknowledged that it's not that you are competent in yourselves... but your competence comes from God. 2 Corinthians 3:5. Remember also that pride blocks empowerment, but humility invites it. Say “Lord, without You I can do nothing.” John 15:5. Pray boldly: “.” James 1:5: “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God.” Allow the infilling of the HOLY SPIRIT—Ephesians 5:18. “Be filled with the Spirit.” Learn to spend time in prayer, worship, and the reading and meditating on the Word.

III. MY BELOVED SISTERS, the Spirit fills empty vessels. We must, therefore, empty our vessels before the Lord for Him to fill us. The infilling of the Holy Spirit will bring empowerment. In Acts 4:31 the apostles were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God boldly. These were ordinary men; some were fishermen and people of lower class by the world’s estimation. They were not among the elite class, but through the filling of the Holy Spirit, they began to speak and preach boldly before kings and men without fear. Sister, your empowerment will bring that change. Empowerment flows through obedience; when you hear His word, obey it. Whatever he tells you to do, do it. Empowerment brings boldness to take the next step in faith, to stretch out your hand over the sick for their healing, and to proclaim God’s word at your workplace. Empowerment will ignite that spirit of God in you to embark on personal evangelism without fear. That empowerment will grant you the enabling power to face your fears. That empowerment to say that I will honour the name of God at all times. As you move, God empowers you.

IV. MY DEAR BROTHERS, to be empowered, you must stay connected to the source of power. John 15:4 “Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself.” Daily devotion, fellowship, communion — they keep the power flowing. Today, “I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being.” Ephesians 3:16. Remember that God is not looking for perfect people; He is looking for yielded people to empower them to do exploits in His name. 2 Chronicles 16:9 “For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him.” This is a DIVINE NEW DAY PROPHETIC WORD of encouragement sent forth through the authority and power of Christ Jesus and delivered to the brethren through God's vessel, Francis Ameyibor. Yes! Isaiah 41:10 “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you.” Maybe you are weak, maybe you are tired, maybe the assignment is too big, or the problem is too deep; in all these things God says, "I WILL EMPOWER YOU."

V. 2026 IS OUR YEAR AND SEASON TO BE LIFTED UP— to preach, to pray, to stand firm, to reach out to many, to lift those who are cast down. to finish what You started in me.

PRAYER: Father, today I cry out. EMPOWER ME—with Your Spirit. Empower me with wisdom for decisions; Empower me with strength for this season; Empower me with grace for marriage; Empower me with ideas for my work; Empower me with compassion for the cast down. Empower me to be a witness and to fulfill my purpose. LORD! Let Your power rest upon me now. In Jesus Christ’s mighty name, Amen.
