You shall not drown

I. DAUGHTER OF ZION, today, can I talk to someone who feels like the water is up to their neck? Bills are rising, pressure is rising, tears are flowing, problems are multiplying, and it feels like one more wave and you will go under. Today, I assure you that even though the waters may rise, they will not overcome you; God is with you. God has sent me to tell you: . In Isaiah 43:2 we are admonished. “When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.” God did not promise you would never see water, but he assured and promised us that when we go through water, WE WILL NOT DROWN. Sister, I assure you that the same God who shut the mouth of lions, who shut the door of the ark, who parted the Red Sea He will keep your head above the water. The psalmist in Psalm 69:1-3 cried out, “Save me, O God! For the waters have come up to my neck. I sink in deep mire, where there is no standing; I have come into deep waters. Where the floods overflow me. I am weary with my crying; my throat is dry; my eyes fail while I wait for my God.”

II. SON OF MAN, does the cry of the psalmist sound familiar? Is your throat dry for praying and crying at midnight? The psalmist said even though his eyes are red from crying, he will still wait for the Lord. But hear God’s word to you today: , FOR GOD IS WITH YOU IN THE WATER. Remember the enemies thought that by conspiring to put the three Hebrew boys in the fire, they had finished them. Brother, the fires will not burn you. The king exclaimed in Daniel 3:25. "Look!" he answered. “I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.” The king is about to see the wonders of God in your life. The fires of life will not burn you, for the Son of God is with you. GOD WILL BRING YOU OUT. Psalm 18:16 reveals that “He sent from above; He took me. He drew me out of many waters. He delivered me from my strong enemy, from those who hated me, for they were too strong for me.” This is your portion; the Lord is about to draw you out of those powerful enemies and give you testimonies. God will not just rescue you, but He will elevate you.

III. MY BELOVED SISTER, remember the case of NOAH in Genesis 7:17 as the flood rises so God continues to lift it up. Your ark will float. What about MOSES in Exodus 2:3? As an infant he was put in a basket and dropped in the Nile River, but the water that was meant to kill him carried him to the palace. Beloved, what the enemy meant for your drowning, God will use for your promotion. God will part what is expected to drown you, and you shall pass through dry land. Don’t forget the case of PETER in Matthew 14:30. “When he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, ‘Lord, save me! The moment you start sinking, cry out, 'Lord Jesus Christ, save me.' Today, cry out to God again; don’t get tired calling on the LORD. Sister, CRY OUT IMMEDIATELY – DON’T WAIT. Prayer is your life jacket. Psalm 50:15 “Call on me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you.” Don’t pretend you’re fine when you’re sinking. We are directed through Hebrews 12: 2. “Fixing our eyes on Jesus.” Don’t look elsewhere – not at the bills, not at that report, not at the troubles, not at the dismissal letter, and not at the rejection; they are waves. Jesus Christ is the Word.

IV. MY DEAR BROTHER, today speak the word over the water. In Mark 4:39 Jesus Christ showed us the way; He spoke to the storm: “Peace! Be still! In Isaiah 41:10 we are encouraged, “Do not fear, for I am with you.” Philippians 4:19 “My God will meet all your needs.” Don’t isolate, connect with brethren, and join faith together in prayer for God’s intervention. When you meet the cast down, be the hand that pulls them up. Learn also to WORSHIP THE LORD IN THE FLOOD. In Acts 16:25 Paul and Silas praised God while still in prison; as a result, the chains fell, leading to their freedom. After the flood comes the feast; remember that in Romans 8:37. “No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.” This is a DIVINE NEW DAY PROPHETIC WORD of encouragement sent forth through the authority and power of Christ Jesus and delivered to the brethren through God's vessel, Francis Ameyibor. Yes! The water may be high, the report may be bad, the pressure may be real, the pains may be unbearable, and the road may be dark, and truthfully you are tired, but God says to you today: .

V. 2026 IS OUR YEAR AND SEASON TO BE LIFTED UP—Your business, your marriage, your children, your relationship, your faith, and your destiny will not drown. Because God affirms His word in Isaiah 43:2, “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you.”

PRAYER: Father, today in the name of Jesus Christ we speak to every flood in our lives. BE STILL. By thy power we decree: We shall not drown. Lord, reach down your hand like you did for Peter, pull us out of deep waters, and bring us into a spacious place. We anchor our souls on You, the Rock that cannot be moved.

In Christ Jesus’ mighty name we pray. Amen.
