Keep your heart with all vigilance from Manasseh’s influence

I. BRETHREN IN THE LORD, you cannot associate with treacherous Manasseh and be able to do exploit. Be careful of people and groups you associate with. Is that association turning you away from God or drawing you closer? To avoid the treachery of Manasseh, you must guard your altar. “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee." Proverbs 4:23&24. The sins we commit are from the heart, and then we conceptualize them and take action. Today, as you step out, protect your heart. Avoid being receptive to Manasseh's message. Today, check what you are building in your home and on your phone and schedule. Is it for God or for Baal? In 1 John 4:1, we are encouraged to test every spirit, for it's not every spirit that is of God. Not every "prophetic word," strategy, or opportunity is from God. Learn to verify from God; check from scripture, for God does not contradict Himself. Speak up for the weak. Don’t participate in gossip, slander, or systems that crush people (Psalm 82:3-4).

II. PRECIOUS IN THE LORD, the moment the Spirit convicts you, don’t harden. Manasseh waited 55 years. Don’t wait 55 days. What is the spirit convicting you about? In 1 John 16:8 scripture reveals to us that when he (the Holy Spirit) comes, he will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment. This verse explains the Holy Spirit’s primary role after Jesus Christ’s departure. He would come to reveal truth to the world, specifically concerning sin, righteousness, and judgment. When within your innermost spirit, you invoke uneasiness about a situation, stop, and pray about it again; the Holy Spirit is working in you. Don’t be like Manasseh and ignore the prompting of the Holy Spirit. There are consequences if we grieve the Holy Spirit. Ephesians 4:30 charges us, “And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.” Grieving the Holy Spirit implies acting in ways that displease Him. The feeling of grief or unease we experience when we sin is often the Spirit’s conviction, urging us to repent and return to Him. Don’t quickly jump onboard the Manasseh train. Don’t quickly join that association. Consult God first. Today, don’t forget to consult God and wait for His answer.

III. MY BELOVED SISTERS AND MY DEAR BROTHERS IN THE LORD, be careful, and you must understand that discernment is not paranoia. It is divine wisdom. Today, watch out for the treacherous Manasseh. He will promise you power, wealth, solutions to your delayed childbearing, delayed marriage, offer you a job, and offer you what pleases the eyes, but at the end he will cause you pain. Be careful with what you watch, what you tolerate, who you follow, and what you call "normal." Acts 2:37 says, “Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, 'Brothers, what shall we do?' After Peter’s sermon on Pentecost, the Holy Spirit moved powerfully, convicting the crowd of their sin in crucifying Jesus Christ. Their response shows true conviction leading to a desire for change. Today, don’t throw away the scripture; as you receive the Word of God, act on it. For the Word of God has been sent forth to prosper you spiritually, emotionally, physically, financially, and in all aspects of your life. Today, as you read the Word of God, may the power thereof convict you to seek direction out of the control, power, manipulation, and influence of Manasseh.

IV. DAUGHTER OF ZION, let us be a people who do not shed innocent blood but who shed tears for a nation and intercede. Refrain from shedding innocent blood through false accusation. Stop unjustly prosecuting the innocent. Stop taking advantage of the vulnerable and the innocent. Manasseh humbled himself during hardship and in bondage in a foreign land, and God forgave him. Today, humble yourself before God and ask for forgiveness, for if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. God will forgive you no matter the magnitude of your sins. Proverbs 28:13 reminds us that whoever conceals his transgressions will not prosper, but he who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy. This proverb emphasizes the value of acknowledging sin. This is a DIVINE NEW DAY PROPHETIC WORD of encouragement sent forth through the authority and power of Christ Jesus and delivered to the brethren through God's Vessel, Francis Ameyibor, Yes! The Holy Spirit prompts us to confess, leading to mercy and freedom, rather than hiding, which leads to spiritual stagnation.

V. 2026 IS OUR YEAR AND SEASON TO BE LIFTED UP—Refrain from the sins of Manasseh, or you will damage your life. But if you have walked or you are walking in them, repent like Manasseh did after 55 years, and God will still save your life.

PRAYER: LORD! Make us repairers of the breach and protectors of the innocent.

Lord, if we have walked in compromise, we repent now. Restore us, Lord. Lord, let our lives cause us to forget our pain and trust in you always in Jesus Christ’s name. Amen.
