When men are cast down: Then thou shalt assure them - There is lifting up
I. Son of Man, remember that scripture reminds us that a wise son makes a glad father, but a foolish son is the grief of his mother. The LORD will not allow the righteous soul to famish, but He casts away the desire of the wicked. This week be encouraged with the Word of God and don’t give up. Why do you want to give up so quickly? There is still hope in the Lord. Brother, you are at the door for a BREAKTHROUGH; why then are you looking back? Why are you looking for help from strange gods? Do you still trust God? Scripture tells us that we are mandated by God to also declare a thing, and it will be established; so beloved, light will shine on your ways. Be encouraged that when men are cast down, then thou shalt say, 'There is lifting up through the power of God.' The Lord shall save the humble person, and he alone shall deliver the island of the innocent, and it is delivered by the pureness of thine hands.
II. Daughter of Zion, don’t give up. As you wait upon the LORD surely, He shall restore your strength again, and you shall mount up with wings as eagles and fly. You shall soar high again and run through the difficult terrain and not be weary; you shall walk and not faint. Today, the LORD is asking you, CAN THESE WEAK BONES LIVE? Can this company be revived? Can this marriage be restored? Can your first love for the Lord be revived? Can the backsliding stop? Can you get out of that sickbed? Can you get a job? Can your honour be restored? Can there be a revival in the church? Can the bleeding stop? Can you conceive? Can you get married? Can you be delivered from the crisis? JEHOVAH ADONAI IS ASKING YOU TODAY, SON OF MAN, CAN THESE BONES LIVE?
III. My Beloved Sister in the Lord, remember that it was the hand of the Lord which was and has been upon YOU all these years and carried YOU out in the SPIRIT OF THE LORD and set YOU down in the midst of THAT valley which was full of dry bones. You are questioning God why you were planted in the midst of dry bones when others landed in the midst of gold. You are crying and questioning God why you are struggling in your marriage while others are enjoying theirs. Beloved, you are still questioning God why you have been struggling for the fruit of the womb for years of marriage while others continue to celebrate their newborn and observe their children’s birthday anniversaries. You were looking for a land filled with milk and honey. You were looking for green land; you aimed at the mountain top, not at a valley of dry bones. Beloved, humanly it's alright to attempt to give up, but those who trust in the Lord must have the courage that God planted you there for a purpose. Honour God even in that state, and you shall see the hand of God directing you.
IV. My Dear Brother it is JEHOVAH alone who knows why YOU were set in the MIDST OF THE VALLEY WHICH WAS FULL OF DRY BONES, and the Prophet answered, 'O LORD GOD, thou knowest.' It is God alone who knows your tomorrow. Once again, my dear, the LORD IS SAYING TO YOU, 'Prophesy upon these bones.' Son of man, prophesy! Daughter of Zion, prophesy! My brother, my sister, prophesy! My father, my mother, prophesy and say unto them, 'O YE DRY BONES, HEAR THE WORD OF THE LORD.' Thus saith the LORD GOD unto these bones: Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live. The Lord will cause breath to enter into your struggling business, your failing health, your empty accounts, and your lonely life, for these dry bones before you shall not remain dry any longer. You shall not be the same; the Lord will restore life to the deadly situation.
