We are well able to overcome
I. BELOVED BROTHERS AND SISTERS grace be unto you through Christ Jesus’ name. As the days roll into weeks and into months, let us face what confronts us. Let us not be scared of the storms. Let us not look at their manpower or economic forces. Let us not be afraid of the giants in the land, in your company, family and community. Let us go up at once and possess our heritage, for them. And Caleb stilled the people before Moses and said, 'Let us go up at once and possess it, for it.' Beloved, rise up as the Caleb of our time. Rise up and ignore the majority report; focus on the divine report. Even though the people who dwell in the land are strong and their cities are walled and you see giants, Jehovah, who brought you this far, is able to carry you over.
II. SON OF MAN, but the men who had gone up with Caleb said, “We are not able to go up against the people, for they are stronger than we.” We need a Caleb to encourage the people out of the confusion. You can certainly conquer them through the power of Jesus Christ that works in you. Redefine the status quo, face the obstacles, and ignore those shouting you are not able to go up against the tides, for they are stronger than you. Be careful of the congregational singers. We walk not by sight but through faith. Who is your anchor? What is your foundation? Do you know whom you have believed? And in your own eyes you see yourself as a grasshopper, and you believe the giants also see you as a grasshopper. Beloved, fear not because the Lord is with you; their defence is departed from them. You are able to overcome. For the Lord has not given you the spirit of fear, but of power and sound mind to defeat the arguments of men.
III. PRECIOUS BRETHREN IN THE LORD, and they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, 'The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature.' And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight. Let us be careful about negative reports. What is your assessment of your own capabilities? Do you see yourself as a grasshopper, or are you a giant? Beloved, build up your self-esteem; if you belittle yourself, others will also look down on you. This year let the weak say, 'I am strong,' let the poor say, 'I am rich,' and let the sick say, 'I am healed.' You are not a grasshopper, for through Christ Jesus, you are more than a conqueror. You are not barren; you shall be the mother of twins soon. Today they see you as the rejected stone, but tomorrow you shall be the cornerstone of the house. Today you are a tenant, but tomorrow you shall own your mansion.
IV. DAUGHTER OF ZION, this is the word of the LORD unto us; it is not by our might nor by our power, but by the Spirit of the LORD of hosts. Who art thou, O great mountain? Who art thou great giants? Who art thou walled cities before us? In the name of Jesus Christ, you shall become a plain. They have no power over you unless it had been given to them from above. Your God, our God, has not sanctioned it, so it will not stand. This is a DIVINE NEW DOWN MESSAGE sent forth through the authority of Christ Jesus and served to the brethren through God's Vessel Francis Ameyibor, Yes! This month, though they will plot evil against you and devise wicked schemes against you, they cannot succeed.
V. 2026 IS OUR YEAR AND SEASON TO BE LIFTED UP – Through godly counsel this year you shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water; you will bring forth fruit in due season; your leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever you do shall prosper.
PRAYER: He that walketh with wise men shall be wise, but a companion of fools shall be destroyed. Lord! This year direct my path to wise men and women and move me far away from the company of fools; through Christ Jesus’ name I pray. AMEN
