Project fame GH Rep with 2nd Single - Sika
Reality shows have often produced excellent competitors but few recording artistes. Recently Nigeria played host to one of Africa's biggest ever music reality shows Project Fame. The show has several talented individuals from the sub region including three from Ghana. One of Ghana's representtaives was Dorcas Yeboah. Though she did not win and did not get as far as some her competitors, Dorcas has refused to be just a competitor on a reality show. The young Ghanaian Lady signed on to a Nigerian Label 411 Entertainment.
In April this year, Dorcas Yeboah released her debut single "Wuru Wuru Love" which is steadily climbing the charts in Nigeria though it's yet to hit the Ghanaian Market. Months down the line she has been tagged as an exceptional individual with a blend of talent Africa and the world has been waiting for. “We are eyeing the international market because Dorcas Yeboah is a born entertainer that can impress a global audience. She's the next diva Africa is waiting for” says Akpor Gbemre, the CEO of 411 Entertainment, Nigeria. She has already been billed along with some of Nigeria and African finest artistes. On the 29th of May, Dorcas performed at a huge Nigerian Carnival which was dubbed "Green-White-Green Carnival". Artiste who performed at the Carnival includes; M.I, Weird MC, DJ Zeez and M. Trill.
After two months of releasing her first album Dorcas Yeboah has followed with another smashing single "Sika"ft. Sheyman. Sika is expected to do even better than "Wuru wuru Love" is already doing. The single "Sika" is also taking off her upcoming album titled "Addicted" most likely to be released in the last quarter of the year. One thing's certain: this rare Afro-centric beauty has BIG plans! She always appears African but with a touch of modern day fashion trend thus drawing admiration from fashion lovers.
The next rated diva has plans of embarking on a charity project to help single mothers in our society and also own an African fashion label. According to the talented singer: “My works can be described as afro-centric that can be exported to both Europe and America and still retain its dominance in the African continent”.
